I'm not afraid of anything.. (except crazy-ass SNSD fangirls and fanboys)

Hello! It's been a while, yet again, and I apologize! I've been trying to record a Youtube video for the past week's time and it's just not been working out for me. I had footage for like 2 days of recording and I wasn't happy with any of it :C so boo my face. The first files had decent content but my face looked shit. The last files.. well, I looked ok but my talking was a mess. So yeah, I'm sorry you guys T_T the Youtube stuff will have to wait. Hopefully I can record a bit tomorrow. We'll see.

Anyway, today is a holiday here in Korea - Buddha's birthday, meaning no classes! Yay for Buddha! Yonsei celebrated the SUPER popular AKARAKA! festival this week, concluded with a huge party/cheering event with lots of stars performing, cheering chants and just tons of awesome things.
It was a great experience, but it is indeed the first and LAST time that I buy a VIP ticket. I was in the second row up front and when SNSD were announced, people went BALLISTIC and pushed to get up front... which resulted in us up front being squished against a fence that almost fell over. Luckily some security fellas came to our rescue, but at that moment I was certain that I'd die. I didn't die though, but I DID get a rather large cut on my hand, which is super painful atm :C  I swear to Buddha fanboys are worse than fangirls, because most boys are bigger, wider and stronger than girls. Meaning they'll knock you over faster and harder. -sobs- It was not fun at all.
After that, my mood was rather ruined and I couldn't enjoy YB (Brian Kim?) nor JYP performing. I was angry (pissed off, really) and rather scared that last night would be my last fucking day on earth. I said before on my blog (and ERIKA's blog) that fangirls are usually middle-school or early high-school in age. I was proven horribly wrong as about 500 uni students came furiously towards me. I don't understand why these fuckers try so hard to come further up front. It doesn't make sense! It's not like you can see more or get to touch them anyway -__-" Fucking idiots.
Speaking of crazy fans I also attended the Dream Concert 2013 last weekend and the show was awesome! Spite the hosts (Goo Hara (KARA), Onew (SHINee) and Dujun (B2st)) having to re-take a few introductions (because of other artists getting in the way or some lights going out) it was bomb! AND I GOT TO SEE EXO LIVE OMG! Kris' voice is so fucking sexual I can't even.. Let me tell you, and all girls can verify this (straight or gay) - a guy with a deep voice is just.... -sigh- sexual. Ok. Sexual. My favorite performances were definitely SHINee, BTOB (these guys never disappoint!), T-Ara (which is surprising as I don't like them lol), 4Minute (even though Hyuna wasn't there T_T), U-Kiss and of course EXO. Though we couldn't see EXO that clearly (our seats were actually pretty good) they were so dope and ugh.. Kris' part... unf. Sadly, there've been some rumors surfacing here and there (especially on Tumblr, the land of dumb and delusional) about T-ara having a black ocean during their performance -__-" This is NOT TRUE. I don't know why some people find joy in coming up with lame rumors to make other fandoms look bad (it's just as stupid as going onto one artist's Youtube to compliment them by bringing another artist down). T-ara were rooted and cheered for just like everybody else. End of discussion. Maybe people saw footage that was recorded from the floor. The floor (VIP section and where people, who won tickets, were seated) was mainly dark because majority of people seated there didn't have any light sticks. That's it. The only group who appeared to lack support was EvoL. Not surprising though, I think there were some BLOCK.B fans among the crowd. huehuehue. Oh well, it's not EvoL's fault that nobody knows who they are nor that Stardom is a rather shitty company when it comes to artists' rights and promotions. -__-"
Other than that, I've been doing the usual. I've been shopping a bit here and there and actually got my first "red" lipstick. It shows up a bit more fuschia/dark pink on the picture, but oh well.. I like it anyway! ^__^)/ I also ordered my Yonsei jacket (which will be dope as fuck!!) - I'll show it on the blog when it arrives. Also, I'm waiting for a package from my parents : D yay! They shipped it out Tuesday last week, so it should be here soon ^__^"
I started watching Death Note again! My all-time favorite anime/manga ever! I think the story-line kinda died with L, but I still love watching it. All episodes where L is present are just fucking bomb and Kenichi Matsuyama does his interpretation of L in the live movies SO WELL! Can you believe that he went from a justice-oriented, gentle and super smart person like L to play the main character of the psycho in Zeni Geba? My mind still cannot wrap itself around that. It's mind-boggling and fucking awesome! If you guys haven't seen him in Zeni Geba yet... look it up, watch and love it! It's so epic!
What else has happened... I did an un-posted OOTD here + a face shot of me before and after makeup. The photos probably aren't taken on the same day.. I dunno. lol. When do I ever know? But I think the OOTD is from Denmark Day (more info below) and the blank face is from.. last night while the makeup face is from today.

DENMARK DAY
On to Denmark Day! The event was held at Global Lounge here at campus on May 8th and 9th and we even got to meet the Danish ambassador of South Korea! It was so cool : D We had put up different sectors for the event where people could see pictures and products made by Danish companies and we were even sponsored by awesome companies like Denmark Milk, LEGO and Maersk! It was beyond rad and the people at Global Lounge said that this was the most successful Global Day they'd ever participated in! : D It was SO BOMB! Thanks to everyone who came! : D Here are.. some pictures!
Dev getting ready to rock'n roll!
We had a gaming section where all the boys ended up : P If someone won the game (I think the game was called 'Winning' (oh the pun, huh?) - some sort of soccer game) they'd win awesome prizes sponsored by Hummel!
You could also take a picture at the event, like Denmark Days' FB page and upload your pic to it, like the Danish Embassy's FB and then put your email and full name in a bag in order to possibly win the lucky draw competition.
We gave out free Danish birthday cake! (layer-cake (lagkage) made with sponge cake layers, vanilla custard, fresh strawberries, whip-cream and chocolate chips)
Happy guests! The guy in the middle came back the day after too : P damn cake-freeloader. Hoho! He was actually a performer at the show last night. He did bboy-ing ^__^)/ pretty cool!
Danish ambassador! We were also featured on the DANISH MINISTRY OF INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS' website! I dunno why so many people were in those pics at the end btw. 80% of them didn't even participate in the arrangement nor set-up of the event. LOL.
Kat in her true element as a viking!
The Monarchy area of the event : D
Royal Copenhagen had their own table at the event as well! I don't know who wrote that stupid sign tho.. >__< ugh typos give me eye-cancer
Maersk and LEGO were there too! It was so cool!
and of course our most treasured person of all - H.C. Andersen! The writer of many traditional Danish fairytales (that most of you probably know too).

After the event one of the guys asked us what we wanted for dinner and we'd been craving pizza all day.. so we asked for pizza! He'd given us the impression that the pizza would be ordered for us only (we were 5-6 Danish people + a Korean that wanted pizza) so we could share among ourselves, because some of the others wanted chicken, some wanted noodles etc. Sadly all the Koreans decided to eat most of our pizza (as the pizza arrived first) and after watching our precious pizza disappear, we found out that they had actually ordered something else for themselves already - black bean noodles and mandu (fried dumplings) + some pork stuff. Rather fucking annoying as we barely got any food while they shamelessly ate most of ours AND their own. -__-" Rude.
After everyone had left we ordered our OWN pizza, though, (pics above) and then enjoyed it with a Korean guy who stayed to hang out! We also watched the old Danish movie (oldie but goodie!) Martha. It was a brilliant night! : D (spite people eating our pizza :C )

That's it! hope you enjoyed : D Even though it was rather long >__< Can I just add that the weather is INSANE in Seoul atm? We get 14-20 degrees celsius at night and 25-30 during the day T_T I'm cooking and boiling like a lobster here! ughh! I will try to get my shit together and film soon! Maybe Sunday? We'll see :C ugh if only I had the brains to talk today.. I've been making no sense at all throughout majority of the day. -sigh- Hope you're doing well! : D
MUCH LOVE
xoxo
(speaking of EXO (lol) their new teaser pics have been revealed WOOOT ASFGHJKL)

100년동안기다렸지? (난고민이많나봐)

fuckmehard has it been forever, or what?
I know, I know. I promised many things in my previous entry, but then again - when do I ever keep my promises on this blog? lol. I feel especially stupid for not blogging since I got the MCM PHOTOS., because I shared my blog link in Korean class today (we were talking about hobbies). I'm not sure how many of my fellow class mates actually stopped by here, though. Majority of them are Americans, so I reckon they'd easily understand the language used. We're all 3급 after all, hoho, so even the Korean parts they ought to understand. 횡설수설아니지? ㅎㅎ

I've been working hard on an upcoming fashion post, but sketching everything out is taking forever and I'm not sure how to go about it, still, so I'm obviously in the process of working that out. I also promised more videos, but I've been having a hard time coming up with things to talk about. I still wanna do a "Tips for Foreigners in Korea"-video, but like the fashion post - not sure how to go about that. Are there any videos you'd want me to do? Any suggestions? Let me know ^3^)/

Anyway, this was me today...
I've been suffering severe lady cramps (well excuse my details lol) and have been wanting to die for majority of the day. I had some issues with 우리은행(uri bank) as I tried to withdraw some money yesterday, but the machine fucked up and I never got my money. o__o Now... normally the machine just cancels the transaction, but not for me.. -__-" So yeah, they transferred the money back for me today. Yesterday I had a really nice gentleman from SECOM (security company, I guess?) help me out and he even went with me to the bank on campus today to help explain everything. Such a good man he is! Thank you! m(__ __)m" Anyhoozle, everything should be back in my account in about 10-15 days. So yeah, let's keep our fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong for me, shall we? (wanna bet I just jinxed that..? lol) My cramps still sucked.. I got pain killers tho and JUST before entering Korean class.. they kicked in! Ahhh, 다행이네!
I finally joined the Dr. Marten family, which has been yet another source of troubles for me. If you want to see what pain these babies caused me click HERE (if you hate feet or blisters... don't click lol, just sayin'. It's nasty yo..) Ironically I also got a blister on my left ring finger for shoving socks and leg warmers INTO the shoes to AVOID blisters.. lolol ok ok karma I see, I see; you got a good sense of humor too -__-" bsh.. Anyway, I do not regret getting these! They're a size 7 (EU: 38) btw! Which is half a size smaller (almost an entire size) smaller than I usually get (which is EU: 38,5-39).. o__o am I the only one whose shoe size differs like no other? It's weird. Just about 2 years ago I was suddenly an 8. LOL. Weird. Now I'm back to 7. Oh well, I love them anyway! They're so fancy! : D and I'm sure.. that they will be comfortable eventually. Also they make me like half an inch taller! Haha, poor Nezumi. She's forever short : P wahahaha.
Spite all the bad, there is always good things happening in between. The guy at CARIBOU COFFEE downstairs is really nice to me when I go there.. he always gives me vanilla syrup for free (it's usually 50 cents to get more added to your drink). I'm picky with my vanilla latte ok, so I need it sweet! School also started which I'm really excited about : D I've been really lazy over winter - which means my brain cells are dying. My languages are also going a little weird (especially my Danish is terrible atm., lol). Anyway, my classes this semester seem really nice. I take Korean classes at KLI (level 3), Confucian Ethics in Modern Korean Society and Topics on Korean Language and Culture. The last one is taught by the SWEETEST lady! I was really confused on where to get my book on the first day (yesterday), but she was so nice to me.. and she looked at me for a second when I was about to leave and then said "Ahh, you're so pretty! 예쁘다!" - needless to say.. I love her! Hahahaha! ♡ I got her for one class again tomorrow.. I'm excited! She includes a lot of confucianism in her class which I really like ^__^)/ Confucianism is awesome ok! Joseon dynasty ftw! (lol I'm tired don't judge me)

Anyway, that's it. I'm super tired right now.. -__-" I ought to study a bit before bed but my brain has gone completely mushy already. -sigh- Hope you're all doing well! I'm still contemplating on getting a new MCM bag, but I will keep you all posted on that ^__^)/ don't forget to check out my TWITTER or Instagram (heygodareyouready) for more frequent updates. I also have a me2day if you're onto that. Hoho!
Thanks for reading!

생일축하해줬니?

If you've followed me for a while (or just read my info page lol), you'd know that my birthday was yesterday. ^__^)/ yay! I turned 22. I gathered a few pics from the night. Thanks to those of you who wrote me on TWITTER and Facebook! I appreciate it loads!
We went to CHICKEN BUS (치킨버스) for 치맥 (치킨+맥주 = chicken and beer) and it was fucking delicious. 냠냠~! My lovely friends got me a cake! It was super cute even though it was Christmas themed. Haha! Banana and chocolate! Noms!
We had a shit ton of drinks and I ended up back at my "other home" ESCAPE eventually. Before heading home Winston and I decided it was time for MORE CHICKEN. lol. Then we met some Japanese people (the girl in the pic with me is actually a girl that went to KLI this past semester too - level 2 as well! So cool! Nice to meet you, Marina!) and excuse my fucked up face.. Winston kept throwing drinks at me so I was rather drunk here still. lol
I got money from my grand parents, baby brother, big brother + girlfriend and my parents. Rim gave me a tiny Burberry perfume, Kat & Nezumi gave me a MAC blush (Peaches), Julie gave me a Toblerone and my room mate, Helena, gave me 3 TONYMOLY eye shadows and a nail polish ^__^)/ my parents also gave me deodorants (as they're expensive as shit here) and a coloring book! Hoho~! I like coloring books ok.. they're relaxing to color in and they're just nice ok x__x I got myself the new BLOCK.B 2013 calendar! Hohoho! So nice! I didn't unbox it yet.. I wanna preserve its.. perfection. Haha!
A while ago I received a big-ass box from my parents containing lots of birthday+Christmas presents, advent presents and some yummy treats! This is some of my favorite candy! Noms noms! Most if it is gone already T_T /sobs. So good~!

Random shots from the past week.. bombom~!
Selca-time. I had a rough couple of nights this week being unable to sleep. T_T boo~

This is my boyfriend. He has white hair like me.. and he's from Greenland..

so cute aye? haha!
MY first cup of hot chocolate this year! SO GOOD and SO WORTH all the pain. Ugh!
We saw GD in Myeongdong (I went there with Nezumi for the last couple of things for Christmas) and he was (still) endorsing BSX. Nyamnyam! Not bad at all.. Haha!

Thanks for reading!
Merry Christmas everyone! : D
I hope all the items on your wishlist end up under the tree for you!

VLOG + pictures! A Walk With(out) the Stars 2012

hey there
I'm back! KLI finals are FINALLY over and I miraculously made it to level 3. How did that even happen? LOL I suck so hard at 듣기 (listening) but I passed this time and apparently my teacher felt that I could handle level 3. MUCH studying for me this winter - 퓨~! Thank god I got 3 months (approx.) until next term. I wanted to study this winter too, but due to our scholarship and partner agreement between University of Copenhagen and Yonsei University, we're not allowed to take classes during winter semester. So boo-hoo T_T

I put together a vlog of what's been going on lately. I didn't film too much - most of it is from A Walk With the Stars and me showing you guys some shit I bought from TONYMOLY yesterday. :C I will do my best to film more when I go out and about. Hope you like it!

Also, I FINALLY bring some photos from the "A Walk With the Stars"-event which turned out more like a Walk WITHOUT the Stars, lol. It was so chaotic and unorganized. 80% of people took the wrong turn at a crossroad (they were following the idols who weren't told where to go) so the entire event was just fail. We were all given seats during the concert, but people either stood up on their chairs to see or ran up to the stage (which is super rude either way). At least I had fun with my two lovely ladies: Kat and Nezumi who both came with me : D SISTAR, Nine Muses, ZE:A, Infinite and that tiny guy from PSY's Gangnam Style music video came to perform. Nine Muses and ZE:A were supposed to walk with us, but security was HORRIBLE and especially ZE:A were almost CRUSHED by crazy fangirls trying to get to them T_T poor guys! I hope the arrangers of this event learned from it.. the security for the idols (and fans) was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and people ran out of their seats to go to the stage while the host did nothing to maintain order. Fail -__-"

Excuse the photos if they're either not working or taking forever to load, I had to upload them to Tinypic cause flickr won't deal with PNG files :C boo! Hope you liked it all anyway!

STAY SAFE (and be careful of the cold/flu)
I was super sick all last week and have been suffering from a stupid-ass stomach flu this weekend that makes me wanna throw up everytime I eat -__-" Oh well~! My exams are somewhat over (only got my exam in Politics and Society of North Korea left on dec. 20th) and since I got no re-exams to take, I'm pretty much free to do whatever until beginning of March. lol. Partying, much? Hoho! My parents also sent a package out to me this past Saturday! Hopefully it'll get here fast! : D It'll contain Christmas and birthday presents AND some random goodies so my Christmas won't suck too hard. If you follow me on Instagram (heygodareyouready) you probably already saw my and the girls' Christmas tree! hoho! So tiny but very cute! : D

UNTIL NEXT TIME
MUCH LOVE
